Imagine having unlimited psychic power, but you just want to chill out and be an average person. That’s the gist of Mob Psycho 100, an anime that mixes terrific animation with comedy, drama, and a protagonist who does his best to not stand out in a crowd. The show ended after three stellar seasons, and the final collection of episodes is getting a Blu-ray release on May 7. Available to preorder from the Crunchyroll Store and Amazon, you can preorder either a the limited edition of Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 or a standard release.

The limited-edition release of the third season includes all 12 episodes, a Spirits and Such consultation office keychain, 72-page art book, six art cards, and a sticker sheet. Both versions come with clean opening and closing credits, promo videos, and commercials.
At this time, Crunchyroll is offering both editions for significantly better prices. This isn’t uncommon for Blu-ray releases of anime, but it’s also fairly common for Amazon to eventually drop its prices to match competing retailers on Blu-rays. The good thing is that with Amazon’s preorder policy, you only pay for your order once it ships and you’ll get the lowest price offered from when you order and release.
If the show sounds like the inverse of another mega-popular anime, One-Punch Man, there’s a good reason for that. Mob Psycho 100 started out life as a web manga illustrated by One-Punch Man creator ONE, and follows protagonist Shigeo Kageyama–nicknamed Mob–as he does his best to live a simple life and abstain from using his incredible psychic powers. The third season picks up shortly after a massive battle between Mob and several other psychics, and revolves around a new cult in town, Mob’s ongoing battle to improve himself through hard work, and a giant broccoli that has sprouted up in the middle of town.
If you haven’t watched Mob Psycho but would like to check it out, Season 1 is available at Amazon on Blu-ray for $50. This edition also comes with digital versions of each episode. Alternatively, you can grab a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack for $65.
